They flourish on gravelly soils resting on subsoils of clay and limestone, true geological treasures of the appellation.
The year 2024 marks a historic turning point for Château Lilian Ladouys, with the award of organic farming certification. This vintage, born in adversity, sincerely reflects the resilience of a terroir driven by the passion and precision of its teams.
Despite a complex spring, the vines maintained their balance thanks to rigorous management. Low yields, the result of significant coulure, were offset by homogeneous, high-quality ripening, particularly for the Merlots and Petits Verdots.
Summer Sec allowed the grapes to concentrate fully. Harvesting was swift and controlled, capturing the optimum expression of each grape variety. The result is a harmonious wine, dense and charming, where the fleshiness of the Merlot combines with the fresh, structuring impetus of the Petit Verdot.
Château Lilian Ladouys 2024 is a generous, vibrant and authentic wine, both a reflection of the vintage and a symbol of the sustainable commitment of Domaine.
