Château Tauzinat L'Hermitage owes its name to the tauzin oaks, once used to make barrels. These trees still line the vineyards today, bearing witness to the region's winegrowing history and tradition.
The Château Tauzinat l'Hermitage benefits from an exceptional terroir, typical of the Saint-Émilion region. The soil is mainly composed of clay and limestone, offering excellent drainage capacity and favoring optimal ripening of the grapes.
The vineyard covers an area of 9 hectares, with a majority of Merlot grapes, complemented by Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
