Darroze is a renowned spirits trading house, specializing in exceptional eaux-de-vie and armagnacs. The story of this family-run house is one of passion for craftsmanship, tradition and the relentless pursuit of quality.
The Darroze family has built its reputation on an incredible collection of Armagnacs from the region's finest estates. Each is matured in its own personal piece of oak; the name of the estate, the year of production and the bottling date guarantee this unique diversity. To pRéserver specificities, no blends of Domaines or vintages. Château de la Pouche 1984, produced by André Morel in Lagraulet du Gers, is a Ténarèze Armagnac from boulbènes soils.
Composed of 100% baco and 60% distilled on site, it ages in regional oak barrels, reaching 49.5% alcohol.
Its golden color with brown highlights accompanies an expressive nose blending nuts, gingerbread, licorice, tobacco and leather, with a minty freshness in Second plan.
On the palate, the perfect balance between tannins, alcohol and aromas (quince jam, dried fig, licorice) offers remarkable fullness and persistent length.
A tribute to family know-how and the excellence of the baco grape.
