The Pierre Montcuit vineyard Grand Cru covers some 15 hectares, a small part of which is planted with vines dating back more than 50 years.

The children of a fourth generation, Yves and Nicole, now run this beautiful Maison, assisted by a fifth generation, Valérie.

Description Pierre Moncuit 2012.

This Champagne Millésimé Grand Cru has been crafted exclusively from Chardonnay from Côte des blancs.

Having been patiently aged for almost 10 years in the cellars of Pierre Moncuit, this Champagne is both complex and endowed with persistent aromatic power.

The nose reveals delicate aromas of citrus peel and white flowers. Perceptible notes of vanilla are also present due to its long aging.

The palate is remarkable for its creamy texture combined with a beautiful freshness marked by the acidic notes of citrus fruits.

The finish is taut and mineral characteristic of its terroir.

Its low dosage reveals a rich palette of complex and harmonious aromas. This wine can be fully appreciated with a terrine of fresh salmon or any other fish-based dish.

This Champagne can be drunk today but will keep for another ten years.

The care we take when receiving wines in our cellars enables us to detect bottles with imperfections (dirty or faded labels, damaged capsules, etc.). In such cases, they are systematically set aside and never put online! Our preparation team selects only bottles with perfect presentation for your orders!

It is these bottles with slight external defects that we present to you in the "Existe en imparfaite" selection. These bottles are, of course, of "irreproachable" gustatory quality, but suffer from slight defects on the label or cap. We therefore offer them at a preferential price, making the pleasure of tasting them even more affordable.
