This commitment has proven particularly rewarding on the wine estate’s gravelly hillsides during this sunny vintage.
In the glass, the wine reveals a deep, intense purple color with violet highlights. The nose is precise and refined, driven by notes of blackcurrant, fresh blackberry, and black cherry, accompanied by hints of cedar, graphite, and subtle spices that are the hallmark of the great gravelly terroirs of the Médoc. On the palate, the attack is clean and refined, gradually giving way to a dense body. The Cabernet Sauvignon provides structure with great integrity and freshness, while the Merlot brings roundness and richness. The refined, perfectly ripe tannins offer a particularly elegant texture. The balance between restrained power, aromatic precision, and freshness gives the wine great harmony. The long, lingering finish extends the fruity and mineral notes with great distinction.
