The 2025 vintage reflects a sunny year that allowed the grapes to reach excellent ripeness. The blend expresses the classic harmony of the Right Bank. The harvest, while mechanized, is accompanied by precise sorting based on the ripeness and size of the berries, ensuring a high-quality selection. The traditional winemaking process emphasizes gentle extraction in temperature-controlled concrete tanks, followed by 12 months of ageing in French oak barrels, 30% of which are new, adding structure and complexity.
On the palate, the wine displays a deep, dense, and brilliant color. The nose opens with a clear expression of ripe black fruit, accompanied by subtle spicy notes and a slight mineral touch typical of limestone soils. On the palate, the attack is supple and full-bodied, revealing a generous and well-balanced texture. The Merlot brings roundness and richness, while the Cabernet Franc structures the whole with a fresher, more elegant framework. The tannins, present yet well-integrated, give the wine good structure while maintaining an accessible texture. The finish, harmonious and persistent, prolongs this sense of balance, with precise fruit expression and a welcome freshness.
