Located in the heart of the prestigious Côte des blancs, Maison Waris-Hubert is the fruit of a long family tradition, today represented by Stéphanie and Olivier Waris, the fourth generation of winemakers.
Based in Avize, village Grand Cru, the Waris-Hubert family carefully cultivates exceptional terroirs, including the Grands Crus of Avize, Chouilly, Cramant, Oger, Aÿ, as well as the Premiers Crus of Grauves and Bisseuil. These clay-limestone soils are enhanced by meticulous working methods, including horse-drawn ploughing on their plots Grand Cru, demonstrating a deep respect for the environment.
Stéphanie and Olivier, who began developing their own vineyard in 1997, continue their quest for excellence by producing low dosage Champagnes, highlighting the purity, minerality and finesse of their terroirs. The first bottles were released in 2001, marking the beginning of a new era for the family. With each cuvée, the precision of work carried out by Maison Waris-Hubert translates into elegant, refined Champagnes, combining minerality and floral aromas.
Champagne Premier Cru with a singular identity, Estence comes from the lovely Grauves terroir. This atypical blend of 60% Chardonnay, vinified for 9 months in oak barrels, and 40% Pinot Noir, reveals a delicate harmony between woodiness and tonicity.
Its golden color is adorned with a fine effervescence, testimony to its liveliness. Sparkling, it owes its name to its remarkable brilliance.
The discreet nose opens with floral and citrus notes, accompanied by a hint of spice. On the palate, Estence is distinguished by its ample texture, offering a fine balance between fullness and liveliness. The finish, tonic and delicately woody, prolongs the experience.
This Champagne Extra-Brut, dosed at 6 g/l, is perfect to accompany a creamy risotto or other refined dishes that will highlight its woody, structured character. Ideal for lovers of Champagnes meals.
