The house of Champagne Hugues Godmé is a renowned family Champagne producer, renowned for the exceptional quality of its cuvées. Founded by Hugues Godmé himself, the house perpetuates a centuries-old winemaking tradition and showcases the unique terroir of the Champagne region.
The Godmé family history goes back several generations, when Hugues Godmé's grandfather began cultivating vines in the Verzenay region, in the heart of the Montagne de Reims. Hugues Godmé then took over the reins of the family business and set about developing a vision of Champagne production based on excellence and the preservation of traditional values.
The vineyards cover almost 14 hectares, mainly located in the grand crus of Verzenay, Verzy and Villers-Marmery. These terroirs, characterized by limestone and clay soils, offer ideal conditions for growing Champagne grape varieties, notably Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier.
The Hugues Godmé estate attaches great importance to sustainable, environmentally-friendly viticulture. The vines are grown using responsible agricultural practices, with particular attention paid to biodiversity and soil health. Harvesting is carried out by hand to ensure careful selection of the ripest, healthiest bunches, preserving the pure expression of terroir.

Hugues Godmé Les Champs Saint Martin 2013 champagne has a bright, light gold color and fine, delicate bubbles. The nose, both precise and refined, opens with aromas of fresh apple, candied lemon, and crisp pear, complemented by notes of white flowers, wet chalk, and a hint of light brioche. With aeration, nuances of almond and citrus zest enrich the whole. On the palate, the attack is lively and taut, revealing a beautiful energy carried by a chiseled acidity. The texture is straightforward and elegant, with a silky texture and a persistent chalky minerality. The long, salty finish leaves an impression of purity and balance, highlighting the finesse and distinction of the vintage.
