The house of Champagne Hugues Godmé is a renowned family Champagne producer, renowned for the exceptional quality of its cuvées. Founded by Hugues Godmé himself, the house perpetuates a centuries-old winemaking tradition and showcases the unique terroir of the Champagne region.
The Godmé family history goes back several generations, when Hugues Godmé's grandfather began cultivating vines in the Verzenay region, in the heart of the Montagne de Reims. Hugues Godmé then took over the reins of the family business and set about developing a vision of Champagne production based on excellence and the preservation of traditional values.
The vineyards cover almost 14 hectares, mainly located in the grand crus of Verzenay, Verzy and Villers-Marmery. These terroirs, characterized by limestone and clay soils, offer ideal conditions for growing Champagne grape varieties, notably Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier.
The Hugues Godmé estate attaches great importance to sustainable, environmentally-friendly viticulture. The vines are grown using responsible agricultural practices, with particular attention paid to biodiversity and soil health. Harvesting is carried out by hand to ensure careful selection of the ripest, healthiest bunches, preserving the pure expression of terroir.

Hugues Godmé Millésime 2013 champagne reveals a bright pale gold color, enlivened by a fine and regular effervescence. The precise and elegant nose opens with notes of ripe pear, stewed apple, and lemon zest, quickly joined by notes of toasted brioche, fresh almonds, and a subtle chalky touch that evokes the terroir. On the palate, the attack is straightforward and lively, carried by a beautiful acidic tension. The mid-palate gains in amplitude with a silky texture and perfectly controlled vinosity. The whole combines freshness, depth, and complexity, with a long, salty, and slightly spicy finish, leaving an impression of balance.
