The Champagne Moët & Chandon embodies a legendary history, a prestigious tradition and a constant quest for excellence.
Founded in 1743, this iconic Champagne house, located in Épernay in the heart of the Champagne, is the very symbol of luxury and sophistication in the world of Champagne.
The family's history goes back centuries, when Claude Moët laid the foundations of what would become one of the world's most famous Champagne houses. This history is punctuated by collaborations with royalty, artists and icons of history, propelling the house's renown to unparalleled heights.
Terroir is of crucial importance in the creation of its unrivalled Champagnes. Vineyards extend over hectares in the Vallée de la Marne, Montagne de Reims and Côte des blancs regions, covering a diverse range of terroirs. These varied terroirs offer a palette of flavors that contribute to the complexity of the blends.
The grape varieties reflect the very essence of the Champagne region. The main grape varieties, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, are cultivated with rigor and dedication, to create balanced, refined cuvées.

Founded in 1743 in Épernay, Moët & Chandon embodies a particular vision of champagne: accessible in its expression, yet consistent in its style. With a vast heritage of crus and proven blending expertise, it is committed to producing non-vintage cuvées of remarkable consistency, where the aromatic signature takes precedence over the variability of the vintages. Rosé Impérial follows this philosophy: it offers a faithful and indulgent interpretation of the house’s style, based on the balance of the three Champagne grape varieties and the addition of reserve wines to preserve complexity and consistency.
On tasting, the wine offers an initial nose that opens frankly with an intensely fruity profile. Red berries, wild strawberries, and raspberries emerge, all enhanced by a floral note evoking rose petals, followed by a subtle spiciness, almost peppery. With aeration, the wine gains complexity, revealing a riper, slightly fleshy nuance reminiscent of summer peaches. The palate confirms this aromatic richness. The attack is full-bodied, juicy, almost pulpy, driven by a beautiful intensity of red fruit. The mid-palate rounds out, supported by the structure of the Pinot Noir, while the Pinot Meunier contributes a rich, approachable texture. The finish, more taut, lingers with an elegant freshness, punctuated by a slight bitterness and a subtle menthol and spicy note that prolongs the tasting experience.
Ultimately, this cuvée stands out for its immediate and seductive character: an expressive rosé champagne, both vibrant and harmonious, that prioritizes the pleasure of the fruit and the suppleness of its texture, true to the house’s festive and universal spirit.
