An exceptional Champagne that needs no introduction, inviting to a space-time journey that Réserve each time a new gustatory surprise, such is the characteristic of the House Dom Pérignon.
The first Champagne of prestige to be marketed in 1936, it owes its name to the Benedictine monk Pierre Pérignon who officiated as cellarer at the Abbey of Hautvilliers in the seventeenth century, and who is none other than the precursor of the famous Champagne method.
Today, Dom Pérignon is one of the most famous names of the Champagne, synonymous with perfection and refinement, which has the particularity is to be a Champagne exclusively Millésimé, made in years considered exceptional for the region.
The vintage chosen when it was first released was the splendid 1921, and in total, 41 years have been marketed since.
Below the famous coat of arms label is a man, the Benedictine monk of Hautvilliers Abbey Pierre Pérignon (1638-1715), known as Dom Pérignon. Having been put in charge of the vineyard of the Abbey in question, he had set himself the goal of producing the best wine possible. As a self-taught winemaker, he was at the origin of the particular art of blending different vintages and grape varieties, thanks to his assertive sensitivity and his certain talent as a taster.

Vintage after vintage, Dom Pérignon Rosé is committed to pushing the boundaries of the House’s creativity. The 2010 vintage is a fine example of this; it embodies a milestone in this quest, the result of ten years of development aimed at elevating the radical nature of Pinot Noir. Born of a demanding harvest, this champagne is the result of a true challenge met with brilliance.
To the eye, the color is an elegant pink with coppery highlights, enlivened by a fine, persistent effervescence. The nose opens with intensity and complexity: a tapestry of ripe red fruits—raspberry, strawberry, and cherry—intertwines with notes of bitter orange and citrus. Gradually, the bouquet evolves toward deeper, spicier nuances of fig and chestnut honey, along with toasted, roasted, and slightly smoky notes reminiscent of buttered bread or roasted hazelnut. On the palate, the attack is full-bodied and enveloping. The texture is dense, creamy, and structured, carried by a beautiful richness and remarkable concentration. The wine unfolds a generous aromatic palette of red and black fruits, complemented by pastry and spicy accents. Despite this power, the balance remains subtle, supported by a controlled freshness that lends elegance and length. The finish is long, persistent, and complex, marked by praline, spicy, and slightly toasted notes, prolonging the experience with intensity.
Dom Pérignon Rosé 2010 is a champagne of character, both powerful and delicate, where the richness of Pinot Noir expresses itself with depth and precision. A consummate cuvée that combines creative audacity with technical mastery.
