Over the years, the Brun family has passed on its winemaking know-how and heritage, and the house of Champagne Roger Brun has developed an enviable reputation in the world of Champagne. Today, the house is still run by members of the Brun family, who proudly perpetuate the values of quality, authenticity and respect for terroir.

Description Roger Brun Aÿ La Pelle 2019.

This is a white Champagne made from a single plot of vines located on the famous Aÿ hillside, ranked Grand Cru at the very top of the Champagnes quality hierarchy, a plot planted exclusively with Pinot Noir grapes. This is a Champagne parcel, mono-cru and mono-cépage.

La robe is brilliant gold.

On the nose and palate, persistent flavors and aromas of red berries such as wild strawberry, blueberry and burlat cherry. The 2nd attack is acacia honey with a discreet hint of Viennese pastry. The finish is long with a beautiful minerality.

Food/wine pairing: enjoy at around 10 to 12°C with Marennes or Oléron and Belon oysters, Atlantic shellfish and Brittany blue lobster. Even better with white meats, flavored with morels or chanterelles and truffles. Wonderful with citrus tarte Tatin or vanilla/chocolate ice cream.
