The Domaine Hubert Lamy is a highly reputed Domaine from Burgundy, located on Côte de Beaune at Saint-Aubin. An essential reference, it was created in 1973 by Hubert Lamy, then owner of 8 hectares of vines at Saint-Aubin.
Today, Domaine is run by Hubert's son Olivier, and has grown significantly, comprising 18 hectares of vines spread over the Saint-Aubin, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Santenay appellations.
Olivier, renowned for his rigorous and innovative approach, focuses on environmentally-friendly viticulture to express the full complexity of Bourgogne's climates. The result is wines of great purity that perfectly express their exceptional terroir.
With its intense ruby color, this wine has a refined nose and a complex bouquet. Gourmet notes of morello cherry, blackberry and blackcurrant mingle with spicy notes of black pepper, clove and licorice. On the palate, the attack is frank and precise. A slight liveliness appears in the middle of the palate and stays with us right through to the finish, bringing plenty of freshness. Silky tannins give the wine a harmonious structure. Fruit dominates, to our delight, accompanied by woody aromas.
