The Domaine Hubert Lamy is a highly reputed Domaine from Burgundy, located on Côte de Beaune at Saint-Aubin. An essential reference, it was created in 1973 by Hubert Lamy, then owner of 8 hectares of vines at Saint-Aubin.
Today, Domaine is run by Hubert's son Olivier, and has grown significantly, comprising 18 hectares of vines spread over the Saint-Aubin, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Santenay appellations.
Olivier, renowned for his rigorous and innovative approach, focuses on environmentally-friendly viticulture to express the full complexity of Bourgogne's climates. The result is wines of great purity that perfectly express their exceptional terroir.
The Chassagne-Montrachet "Le Concis du Champ" 2023 from Domaine Hubert Lamy is a real gem from the Côte de Beaune, combining finesse and depth. It presents itself in the glass with a bright pale yellow color with green highlights. On the nose, it seduces us with its complexity and freshness. Aromas of yellow fruit intertwine with subtle floral notes and a touch of minerality, evoking chalk and a hint of graphite. A slight hint of fresh hazelnut and toast adds a delicious dimension. On the palate, the experience lives up to the promise of the nose. The frank attack continues with a rounded body, perfectly chiseled by a beautiful tension. The fruit aromas unfold with deliciousness and the finish, with its beautiful length, is distinguished by its persistent minerality and extreme finesse.
Enjoyable now, it can also be cellared for a few more years to gain depth and complexity.
