Cognac Le Reviseur was born of the "Single Estate Cognac" philosophy, a conviction held by the Domaines Francis Abécassis, who bring together four vineyards in the heart of the Cognac appellation. Located in the prestigious Petite Champagne region, Barret's Domaine benefits from a clay-limestone terroir, ideally exposed to the sun, enabling the cultivation of an Ugni-Blanc grape of exceptional quality. Every stage of production, from harvest to bottling, is carried out directly on the Domaine to guarantee the purity and quality of the eaux-de-vie.
The vinification and distillation process is fully mastered, with Charentais "repasse" stills producing powerful, elegant eaux-de-vie. After distillation, Cognacs age slowly in oak casks from the Tronçais and Limousin forests, where they acquire their complex aromas. This marriage of oak and eau-de-vie gives rise to subtle notes of plum, almond, cinnamon, pepper and toast, which evolve over time.
With High Environmental Value certification since 2019, Cognac Le Reviseur is an environmentally-friendly product, embodying ancestral know-how and a constant commitment to quality and sustainability. Each bottle reflects a perfect alchemy of tradition and innovation, offering connoisseurs a refined and complex Cognac.
Reviseur Origin Extra is a refined, powerful Cognac from the family-owned Domaine Petite Champagne, renowned for its richness and expertise. Its delicate color oscillates between gold and amber, heralding a harmonious taste experience.
The nose, dominated by concentrated spices, opens with hints of caramel, then evolves towards more complex aromas of pepper, cinnamon and honey, reflecting the product's age and maturation. On the palate, it offers clear power, followed by a rich, persistent finish, where the aromatic complexity unfolds fully.
This Cognac, with an alcohol content of 45% vol., is made from 100% Ugni-blanc grapes grown on the clay-limestone terroir of the Petite Champagne cru. It undergoes double distillation in a Charentais copper alembic, and is aged in Limousin oak barrels, giving it its elegant structure and unique aromatic profile.
Available in a 70cl bottle, presented in an individual box, Reviiseur Origin is a Cognac to be enjoyed neat or on the rocks, ideal for sharing with connoisseurs at the end of a meal.
