Auguste Dupuy

Founded in 1852 by Auguste Dupuy in Jarnac, France, Maison Dupuy has embodied excellence and expertise in Cognac for over 170 years.

Right from the start, Auguste Dupuy recognized the international prestige of French art de vivre, and it was with passion that he bottled his dream : a Cognac bearing his name.

Passed on to his nephew Edmond, then bought by Thomas Bache-Gabrielsen in 1905, Maison Dupuy continues this tradition today, combining finesse, quality and refinement. The Chai Paradis, where the oldest eaux-de-vie are kept, is the heart of the House, a place where the treasures of Grande and Petite Champagne rest.

Each Cognac produced by the House is an ode to the terroir, aged with patience to offer cuvées of great Rare purity and complexity.

The Rare Réserve range from Maison Dupuy unveils exceptional Cognacs, aged for decades, hand-bottled and presented in carefully numbered limited editions to delight the most demanding connoisseurs.

Description Auguste Dupuy Hors d'Age.

Rare and exceptional, the Cognac Auguste Hors d'Âge from Maison Dupuy is a tribute to the legacy of Auguste Dupuy.

A blend of Ugni-blanc and Folle Blanche exclusively from the Grande Champagne terroir, this Cognac is composed of exceptional eaux-de-vie aged for over 50 years in the casks of the Chai Paradis, the house's treasure trove. The oldest eaux-de-vie date back to 1906, while the youngest date back to the 1960s.

This unique Cognac, housed in a mouth-blown crystal decanter, is distinguished by its dark amber color.

On the nose, it reveals deep aromas of Secs fruits, old leather, tobacco and noble wood, testimony to long maturation.

On the palate, the richness of this Cognac is fully revealed, with subtle notes of vanilla, rancio and candied fruit, followed by an exceptionally long, complex finish.

Elegant and timeless, Auguste Hors d'Âge is a tasting Cognac for connoisseurs and lovers of exceptional spirits. Offering a Rare experience, it will appeal to the most discerning palates.

The care we take when receiving wines in our cellars enables us to detect bottles with imperfections (dirty or faded labels, damaged capsules, etc.). In such cases, they are systematically set aside and never put online! Our preparation team selects only bottles with perfect presentation for your orders!

It is these bottles with slight external defects that we present to you in the "Existe en imparfaite" selection. These bottles are, of course, of "irreproachable" gustatory quality, but suffer from slight defects on the label or cap. We therefore offer them at a preferential price, making the pleasure of tasting them even more affordable.
