A tribute to the men and women, past and present, who have perpetuated the Delamain style for 9 generations. An exceptional limited-edition blend created by Dominique Touteau and Charles Braastad, a symbol of the passing of the baton between the former and current Maitre de Chai.
Comprising 5 very different eaux-de-vie Rares from Grande Champagne, each has been selected, matured and preserved by one of the last five generations of Maître de Chai then in activity. The expertise of the two Maîtres de Chai has been essential in balancing these eaux-de-vie with strong personalities, and composing a harmonious Cognac - in which 200 years of history are told. These eaux-de-vie matured in French oak barrels before being transferred, each in its own time, to dames-jeannes, generous glass flasks designed to preserve Cognac for decades, in the muffled light of one of Jarnac's oldest cellars.

The choice to work with one of the 12 Maisons d'Art brought together by Chanel at 19M, testifies to Delamain's very high standards. Maison Goossens, an exceptional goldsmith and iconic fashion parurier, is renowned for its unique decorative pieces handcrafted, hammered, patinated and adorned with stones.
The artisanal excellence of Goossens and the legendary know-how of Delamain, have given birth to an already mythical dame-jeanne and a series of Rares bottles.

The Bicentenaire Edition Rare comes in 200 exclusive bottles featuring the exceptional blend. The hand-engraved packaging was created by Goossens and inspired by the wonders of nature. Each bottle is individually numbered and presented in an oak box adorned with a medal created by Goossens.
The medallion allows its lucky owner to enjoy a historical tour that invites a journey through the centuries.
