The vineyard Claude Thorin located Grande Champagne of Cognac, classified Premier Cru of the region was founded by André Thorin in 1950, today managed by his son Claude. 

This vineyard extends over a hundred hectares and the cellars that house its Cognacs are more than a hundred years old.

Description Claude Thorin V.O. - Original.

With its cuvée V.O. - Original, Maison Claude Thorin perpetuates the art of a racy Cognac, faithful to its family roots. Made with eaux-de-vie exclusively from Grande Champagne, this Cognac embodies the balance between tradition, elegance and accessibility.

It represents a refined gateway into the world of Domaine, while asserting an authentic personality.

Golden in color with amber highlights, this V.O. seduces with its frank, expressive nose, dominated by aromas of ripe fruit, subtle vanilla and light woody touches.

On the palate, the structure is supple yet assertive, with a warm frame interweaving notes of Sec grapes, toasted almonds and a hint of delicate rancio. The spicy-fresh finish confirms serene maturity and fine balance.
