Founded in 1890 by Émile Seguinot, Maison Seguinot is a veritable institution in the heart of Grande Champagne, Premier Cru de Cognac.
Heir to a history that dates back to the 13th century, when the family's ancestors first set foot on Vendée soil, the famous House of Cognac has always stood out for its deep attachment to the land and its respect for tradition. It was at the end of the 19th century, in the midst of the phylloxera crisis, that Émile saw the potential of the neglected vines in the Cognac region and decided to found an authentic and audacious Maison de Cognac.
For over 120 years, four generations have succeeded one another at the head of the company. Today, Gérard Seguinot continues to uphold the family values, ensuring the continuity of an exceptional winegrowing heritage.
Established on a terroir of Rare quality, Maison Seguinot benefits from the unique limestone soils of Grande Champagne, renowned for producing Cognacs of unrivalled finesse and excellent ageing capacity. The carefully selected Ugni Blanc grape variety is harvested in early October, when the grapes reach full maturity. Distillation takes place in traditional Charentais stills, in a process that has remained unchanged since the company was founded.

An exceptional Cognac from Maison Seguinot, Âge Inconnu is a blend of eaux-de-vie Rares from Grande Champagne. A testament to Maison Séguinot's meticulous, exacting expertise, it boasts a superb amber color with mahogany highlights.
The nose, both delicate and bewitching, opens with lovely woody notes and evolves towards empyreumatic aromas.
On the palate, the nectar offers a fine balance between heady spice aromas and a touch of bitter orange. The texture is both rich and velvety, offering a roundness that blossoms on a long, persistent finish, carried by subtle woody notes.
This Cognac is best enjoyed neat, in a tulip-shaped glass, to allow its aromas to unfold gradually after a resting period. Perfect for lovers of complex, refined Cognacs, Âge Inconnu is also an ideal base for high-end cocktails.
