The Domaine Hubert Lamy is a highly reputed Domaine from Burgundy, located on Côte de Beaune at Saint-Aubin. An essential reference, it was created in 1973 by Hubert Lamy, then owner of 8 hectares of vines at Saint-Aubin.
Today, Domaine is run by Hubert's son Olivier, and has grown significantly, comprising 18 hectares of vines spread over the Saint-Aubin, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Santenay appellations.
Olivier, renowned for his rigorous and innovative approach, focuses on environmentally-friendly viticulture to express the full complexity of Bourgogne's climates. The result is wines of great purity that perfectly express their exceptional terroir.
Sublimated by a brilliant pale yellow color, the wine presents itself to us with a nose dominated by floral notes of hawthorn and honeysuckle. After a few Sec rounds, notes of preserved lemon and grapefruit also emerge. Barrel ageing brings notes of hazelnut, toast and fresh butter to the background. On the palate, this wine is full-bodied and round, with a nice tension to balance it out. The fruit aromas are concentrated and generous, developing long after the vibrant finish.
