Secure packaging and transport insurance
In the heart of the village of Aÿ, the House Bollinger enjoys a universal prestige that is no longer to be proven, always in search of excellence. Proof of this is the fact that on the one hand, Bollinger is one of the Rares to own and produce their own grapes for the production of their vintages, but that it is also the only one to still have a cooper in residence.
The latter maintains the 3500 barrels, some of which are over 100 years old, day after day. A centuries-old know-how that the House Bollinger is committed to perpetuate.

The men behind Bollinger
The origin of the House Bollinger is intimately linked to Athanase de Villermont (born in Cuis in 1763 and died in Aÿ in 1840), an admiral in the French army who distinguished himself in the American War of Independence and in particular at the Battle of the Chesapeake on April 29, 1781. An exceptional vintage Champagne, discover Bollinger B16, a bold creation from the House of Bollinger, born out of the climatic challenges of 2016. This unique vintage embodies Bollinger's art of sublimating the contrasts of nature into an exceptional Champagne.
An evocative design, the visual universe of Bollinger B16, in black and white, reflects its duality: white symbolizes purity and finesse, while the interplay of textures evokes the sensory richness of the cuvée. The clean lines are reminiscent of the rows of vines on the Montagne de Reims, and the contrast of colors highlights the wine's unique profile.
A bold terroir Bollinger B16 explores late and unusual terroirs in the Montagne de Reims, offering a rare aromatic palette. Composed of 73% Pinot Noir and 23% Chardonnay, this champagne reveals an aromatic complexity and an airy finesse, combining balance and refinement.
Controlled aging and dosage, 7 years of aging on lees for a silky texture and aromatic depth. Extra-brut dosage (4 g/L) to preserve the purity of the aromas.
2016, a year of contrasts: The year 2016 marked Bollinger B16 with its climatic challenges: a cold and wet spring, followed by late frosts in April and May, reduced yields. A hot, dry, and sunny summer allowed the grapes to ripen ideally, offering a perfect balance between freshness and concentration.
