Description Domaine de la Grange des Pères 2015.

Considered one of the finest success stories in the Languedoc, La Grange des Pères Domaine pays tribute, with its name, to the Benedictine Fathers who planted vineyards in the region.declassified as a vin de pays de l'Hérault due to the addition of Cabernet Sauvignon to its blend, this wine is made according to biodynamic principles, perfectly reflecting the expression of its terroir.

2015 was an exceptional vintage in the region, where temperatures were often scorching. Saving rains during the summer tempered the ripening of the grapes and therefore the tannic excess.

La robe is garnet-red with purplish highlights quickly revealing a very expressive nose with charming aromas. Remarkably powerful, full of sunshine, the nose is dominated by notes of garrigue, blackcurrant and hints of chocolate. After aeration, spicy aromas and a hint of smoky undertones appear.

Although present, the tannins very quickly give way to a fleshy, velvety mouth that lengthens to a mentholated finish.a wine of Rare purity that will charm you with its complexity.

With its great ageing potential, don't hesitate to decant to appreciate all its qualities. Enjoy with duck breast with green pepper sauce or gardianne de taureau de Camargue.
