World-renowned vodka brand, recognized for its exceptional quality and commitment to the Polish vodka tradition.
The story goes back to the 14th century, when vodka was first introduced to Poland. Polish vodka quickly gained a reputation for its exceptional quality and pure taste. Over the centuries, vodka production in Poland became a genuine tradition, and numerous distilleries emerged.
It was in the early 20th century that the Polmos Żyrardów distillery, where Belvedere is produced, was established. This distillery is located in Żyrardów, a historic town in Poland, and is one of the oldest and most respected in the country. It was founded by Count Jan Dawid Piłsudski, a visionary entrepreneur with a passion for vodka, and his brother Karol.

Belvedere Heritage 176 Vodka is made using a centuries-old process for malting rye in Poland. Before fermentation began, distillers dried the malt in kilns heated to 176° Fahrenheit, naturally revealing the rich, complex flavors of rye. With the industrial revolution of the late 19th century, these traditions disappeared and gave way to a more neutral-tasting vodka.
Belvedere, with its Heritage 176 made from the Dankowskie Diamond rye variety and pure artesian water, returns to this traditional method. It showcases rye and the aromatic profile and distinctive character it imparts to vodka, the pinnacle of Polish craftsmanship.
Heritage 176 reveals notes of baked rye bread, walnuts, caramel and shortbread. The palate offers a soft, velvety texture with notes of vanilla, honey and sweet spices. The finish is smooth and sumptuous, on hazelnut and warm spices.
