It was in the early 20th century that the Polmos Żyrardów distillery, where Belvedere is produced, was established. It was founded by Count Jan Dawid Piłsudski, a visionary entrepreneur with a passion for vodka, and his brother Karol.

The vodka is produced exclusively from golden rye, a variety of rye specially selected for its superior quality. The grains are grown locally in the vicinity of Żyrardów, where the climate and soil contribute to the rye's richness and purity.

The distillation process is also a key element in its exceptional quality. The vodka is distilled four times to guarantee its purity and smoothness. It is then diluted with water from an artesian well located in the distillery's Domaine. This water is renowned for its exceptional purity and smoothness, which contributes to the smooth, refined characteristic of Belvedere vodka.

The name "Belvedere" refers to the "Belvedere Palace" in Warsaw, an iconic place in Polish culture and a symbol of excellence and artistry. The brand embodies this tradition of Polish excellence and exceptional quality.
