The close ties between the Tommasi heirs and their land and markets have refined their entrepreneurial vision without losing their respect and love for the traditions and unique qualities of their terroirs. Over time, they have managed to pRéserver their heritage while adopting modern viticultural practices.
Today, the Tommasi family is recognized worldwide for the quality of its wines, which faithfully reflect the unique terroir of Valpolicella. The fourth generation, now at the helm, owns over 800 hectares of vineyards in Italy's most prestigious regions.

A cult wine among the Tommasi family's most beloved classics, Cuvée Ripasso is made using a traditional method that consists of refermenting a Valpolicella on the lees of an Amarone to enrich its aromatic palette and complexify its structure. The bouquet of this 2018 vintage is rich and intense. Notes of candied black cherry, black pepper, cigar box, cinnamon and vanilla blend harmoniously. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and generous, with imposing tannins that are slowly beginning to develop a patina. Fruit flavors mingle with spice aromas and continue long into the finish.
