This defensive tower, built by François I and acquired by the Chanson family after the 1789 Revolution, now houses bottles on four levels, protected by walls averaging eight meters thick.

Bought out by the Bollinger family in 1999, Chanson has expanded its vineyard with the acquisition of magnificent plots in prestigious appellations such as Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru les Chenevottes and Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru les Folatières. Today, Chanson offers a precise and qualitative overview of the wines of Bourgogne.

The Domaine Chanson rigorously farms a 43-hectare vineyard on the Côte de Beaune. Known for the richness and diversity of its Beaune Premiers Crus, Chanson holds the monopoly on Clos des Fèves. The house makes it a point of honor to maintain its environment, practicing unclaimed organic viticulture and obtaining High Environmental Value certification since 2015.

Chanson wines are distinguished by their freshness, purity, richness and, above all, by their personality, a faithful reflection of Burgundy terroirs. The reds are harvested by hand at full maturity, vinified in whole bunches and aged in barrels with a moderate proportion of new barrels to pRéserver the subtlety of the climates. The dense, fresh whites are gently pressed in whole bunches and aged on fine lees, ensuring balance and minerality.

Chanson works with long-standing partners who have access to high quality terroirs and complementary appellations. Whether the grapes come from Domaine or carefully selected vineyards, the wines are made with the same high standards of quality and style.
