Darroze

Darroze is a renowned spirits trading house, specializing in exceptional eaux-de-vie and armagnacs. The story of this family-run house is one of passion for craftsmanship, tradition and the relentless pursuit of quality.

The Darroze family has built its reputation on an incredible collection of Armagnacs from the region's finest estates. Each is matured in its own personal piece of oak; the name of the estate, the year of production and the bottling date guarantee this unique diversity. To pRéserver specificities, no blends of Domaines or vintages. Description Darroze Domaine de Cantau 1992.

Produced from a high-quality terroir of tawny sand and clay, this Bas Armagnac is distilled in a continuous still - a method that pRéserve enhances the purity and intensity of the fruit's aromas - then aged in 400-liter oak barrels.

To the eye, Cantau Darroze Domaine 1992 reveals a golden color with fiery highlights. The nose is a veritable festival of candied fruits such as dates and prunes, interspersed with notes of Secs fruits such as apricots and figs, and subtle hints of vanilla. The palate reveals silky tannins and persistent freshness carried by citrus notes, notably orange peel and tangerine. The remarkably long finish leaves a lasting, satisfying impression. A spirit of choice for connoisseurs, this Bas Armagnac is ideal to accompany the end of a meal, or to be savored on its own, slowly, to fully appreciate its richness and complexity.
