The Champagne Rémy Massin Rosé seduces with its remarkable balance between delicacy and freshness, offering a refined and complex tasting experience. Made from 85% Pinot Noir and 15% Chardonnay, this Rosé blend perfectly reflects the expression of the Ville-sur-Arce terroir, located in the heart of the Côte des Bar region, where Kimmeridgian limestone soils provide a beautiful minerality, while the clay dominance contributes to its round, generous texture.
On the nose, this Champagne reveals an intense bouquet of crushed strawberries, supported by notes of ripe raspberries and a delicate touch of pink cookie. These fruity aromas are elegantly enveloped by a fine powdery note, the sign of at least six months of controlled aging on fine lees. Malolactic fermentation softens the natural acidity, resulting in a silky, perfectly balanced palate.
On the palate, the Brut dosage (7.3 g/l) is finely adjusted, providing just the right amount of roundness to support the aromas of red berries without weighing down the whole. The finish, subtly toasted, reveals 36 months of extended aging on laths, giving this Rosé a harmonious, accomplished structure.
This Champagne is the ideal companion for sophisticated food and wine pairings. Its liveliness and fruity character combine perfectly with delicate dishes such as duck breast with pepper, whose richness on the palate is balanced by the freshness of the wine's red fruits. In conclusion, this Rémy Massin Rosé is a fine, expressive Champagne, combining traditional know-how and respect for terroir, which will delight the most demanding palates.
