What is the history of Maison Deutz?
La Maison de Champagne Deutz was founded in 1838 in Aÿ by William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann, who were born during the First Prussian Empire and immigrated to France in 1830. William was already selling Champagne while Pierre-Hubert was a wine merchant, so they combined their skills to found their own trading house. Description Deutz Brut Rosé 2018.
The Champagne Deutz Brut Rosé Millésimé 2018 is the fruit of a vintage marked by exceptional climatic conditions. A rainy winter followed by a sunny spring helped the vines to develop rapidly and harmoniously. The harvest, carried out under optimal conditions, produced grapes of great aromatic richness.
This Rosé, with its dazzling copper color, offers a complex, seductive nose. Notes of red fruit (raspberry, redcurrant) mingle with hints of citrus and pastry, revealing the complexity of this wine. On the palate, the attack is frank and the structure elegant. The freshness and minerality characteristic of the Côte des blancs and Montagne de Reims terroirs provide a long finish.
The special feature of this Rosé is the addition of red wine from prestigious parcels of Côte des blancs, giving it an intense color and subtle aromas of red and black fruits.
This Deutz Brut Rosé Millésimé 2018 is a wine of great finesse, both powerful and elegant. It can be enjoyed as an aperitif or with gourmet dishes such as venison filet or salmon tataki. It will also be the perfect partner for delicate desserts.
This 2018 vintage is an undeniable success for Maison Deutz, which has produced an exceptional Champagne, both complex and racy
