Château Minuty

Château Minuty

It was Gabriel Farnet who completely replanted Domaine and restored to its former glory Château Minuty, built under Napoléon III, as well as the little chapel that would give its name to Cuvée de l'Oratoire, long the emblem of Château.

1930 - The Birth of Château Minuty.

1955, Château Minuty is one of 23 properties to be distinguished as Cru Classé from Côtes de Provence.

1960 - The replanting of Château Minuty:

Monique Farnet, daughter of Gabriel, and her husband Etienne Matton replanted traditional Provencal grape varieties (tibouren, rolle, grenache) and initiated limited, low yields for high quality winemaking.

1990 - Minuty's influence:

Today, Jean-Etienne and François Matton, the children, a third generation have taken over. They continue to restructure the vineyard  replacing carignan and ugni blanc with grenache and rolle.

A 70-hectare Domaine under integrated farming with annual production around 500,000 bottles depending on the year. Average age of the vines is 25 years, on shist soils.

Description Château Minuty Rosé et Or 2024.

The finest expression of Minuty's expertise, Rosé et Or 2024 combines elegance, aromatic brilliance and mineral precision.

Made from a refined blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Rolle, this gourmet Rosé comes from the best terroirs of Domaine (schist, clay and sand), giving it depth and uniqueness.

The nose seduces with its purity and aromatic intensity, blending white-fleshed fruit, eXOtic notes and delicate floral nuances.

On the palate, spherical texture and saline tension are balanced in a wine that is complex, vibrant and fresh. At just 12.5% vol. and <1 g/L sugar, it's in the chiseled, perfectly dry structured style.

Enjoy between 8 and 12°C, on its own or with noble seafood, spicy Asian or Indian dishes, young cheeses or even citrus sorbets. A signature cuvée for lovers of ambitious Rosés.

The care we take when receiving wines in our cellars enables us to detect bottles with imperfections (dirty or faded labels, damaged capsules, etc.). In such cases, they are systematically set aside and never put online! Our preparation team selects only bottles with perfect presentation for your orders!

It is these bottles with slight external defects that we present to you in the "Existe en imparfaite" selection. These bottles are, of course, of "irreproachable" gustatory quality, but suffer from slight defects on the label or cap. We therefore offer them at a preferential price, making the pleasure of tasting them even more affordable.
