It was Gabriel Farnet who completely replanted Domaine and restored to its former glory Château Minuty, built under Napoléon III, as well as the little chapel that would give its name to Cuvée de l'Oratoire, long the emblem of Château.
1930 - The Birth of Château Minuty.
1955, Château Minuty is one of 23 properties to be distinguished as Cru Classé from Côtes de Provence.
1960 - The replanting of Château Minuty:
Monique Farnet, daughter of Gabriel, and her husband Etienne Matton replanted traditional Provencal grape varieties (tibouren, rolle, grenache) and initiated limited, low yields for high quality winemaking.
1990 - Minuty's influence:
Today, Jean-Etienne and François Matton, the children, a third generation have taken over. They continue to restructure the vineyard replacing carignan and ugni blanc with grenache and rolle.
A 70-hectare Domaine under integrated farming with annual production around 500,000 bottles depending on the year. Average age of the vines is 25 years, on shist soils.

Minuty Prestige 2015 has a very pale, bright pink color with crystalline highlights. The nose is elegant and open, revealing delicate floral notes at first, followed by scents of yellow-fleshed fruits such as apricot and peach, accompanied by a slight touch of citrus that adds liveliness. On the palate, the wine stands out for its finesse and precision. The texture is supple and balanced, revealing flavors of fresh fruit supported by a clean acidity. The whole offers a harmonious profile, both indulgent and structured, where freshness dominates without masking the aromatic complexity. The finish lingers with a slightly salty and mineral sensation, bringing great freshness and persistence. This refined rosé perfectly illustrates the balance between aromatic intensity and elegance that is the hallmark of the Provençal style.
