The Domaine Hubert Lamy is a highly reputed Domaine from Burgundy, located on Côte de Beaune at Saint-Aubin. An essential reference, it was created in 1973 by Hubert Lamy, then owner of 8 hectares of vines at Saint-Aubin.
Today, Domaine is run by Hubert's son Olivier, and has grown significantly, comprising 18 hectares of vines spread over the Saint-Aubin, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Santenay appellations.
Olivier, renowned for his rigorous and innovative approach, focuses on environmentally-friendly viticulture to express the full complexity of Bourgogne's climates. The result is wines of great purity that perfectly express their exceptional terroir.
This Puligny-Montrachet "Les Tremblots" Haute Densité 2023, vinified by Domaine Hubert Lamy, embodies the excellence of Burgundy Chardonnay, where concentration, freshness, and minerality blend to create a wine of rare elegance. Its bright yellow-green color quickly gives way to a complex bouquet. Aromas of white fruit, candied lemon, and almond blend harmoniously with a pastry-like dimension featuring notes of brioche and toasted bread. After aeration, mineral notes unfold, highlighting the typical characteristics of the terroir. On the palate, the attack is both powerful and elegant, with a silky texture and dense substance that envelops the palate. The concentrated flavors are dominated by white fruits and citrus. The perfectly integrated acidity brings a lively freshness and exceptional length. The finish, with great persistence, is marked by a salty minerality and notes of candied citrus, revealing a rich and balanced structure.
