Guigal has long been synonymous with excellence and renown in the Rhône Valley, and its iconic wines are recognized around the world for their exceptional quality and distinctive character. Founded by Étienne Guigal in 1946, this family-run business has managed to pRéserver a remarkable winegrowing heritage and pass it on from generation to generation.

These wines are refined expressions of Syrah, with seductive aromas of black fruits, spices, violets and licorice, as well as a remarkable tannic structure. They are renowned for their ability to age for many years, developing additional complexity and depth.

Description E. Guigal Château d'Ampuis 2018.

La robe is a magnificent brilliant ruby red with brick-colored highlights.

The nose, expressive and captivating, transports us into a dimension dominated by fruity notes of cherry, plum but also crushed strawberry.

After a few minutes, a hint of smokiness arrives, as well as notes of baking and blond tobacco, which underline the whole and add complexity.

The palate is supple on the attack and evolves on a very silky texture.

The tannins, with their powdery texture, give way to a finish carried on black fruits and spices.
