Born out of a passion for craftsmanship and local produce, the A 1710 distillery embodies the perfect combination of tradition and innovation in the world of rum. Based in Martinique, it stands out for its artisanal production, environmentally friendly cultivation and distillation methods, and vintages aged in French oak barrels, offering rums of rare richness and authenticity.

The history and highlights of the A 1710 distillery

The A 1710 distillery is committed to excellence and respect for traditional expertise, while incorporating modern and sustainable practices. Its name pays tribute to the year 1710, a symbolic date in the history of Martinique, reflecting its deep roots in the local terroir and culture. The distillery was founded by a passionate team, supported by renowned oenologists, with the ambition of producing extraordinary, authentic, and innovative rums.

From the outset, A 1710 has distinguished itself through its artisanal approach and commitment to quality. The distillery quickly gained a reputation for its rums aged in French oak barrels, previously used for Cognac, which gives its vintages unique aromas and remarkable aromatic complexity. The use of Cognac casks for blending and aging is a signature of the house, reinforcing the premium character of its products.

Description A1710 Renaissance.

An exceptional white agricultural rum, where the freshness of sugar cane meets floral sweetness for a tasting experience of great subtlety and complexity.

On the nose, a complex and captivating palette: the freshness of sugar cane, the delicacy of orange blossom and the sweetness of meringue intertwine for a first impression of great finesse.

On the palate, a silky and generous texture: juicy sugar cane, floral notes and the roundness of vanilla unfold harmoniously, revealing the full richness of this rum.

The finish is rich and slightly toasted, leaving a soft and lingering impression for a long and refined conclusion.

This rum owes its unique character to a meticulous production process: 100% pure cane juice, a long fermentation period of five to seven days, and distillation in a Charentais still hybridized with a column. A few days in oak barrels give it additional complexity, combining freshness and depth. A1710 Renaissance embodies the excellence of white agricultural rum, where each aroma is expressed with rare elegance.

The care we take when receiving wines in our cellars enables us to detect bottles with imperfections (dirty or faded labels, damaged capsules, etc.). In such cases, they are systematically set aside and never put online! Our preparation team selects only bottles with perfect presentation for your orders!

It is these bottles with slight external defects that we present to you in the "Existe en imparfaite" selection. These bottles are, of course, of "irreproachable" gustatory quality, but suffer from slight defects on the label or cap. We therefore offer them at a preferential price, making the pleasure of tasting them even more affordable.
