Château Barde-Haut

Saint-Emilion, a medieval city, classified as a Unesco World Heritage Site since 1999.

Saint-Emilion, a land of vineyards where, for nearly 1,000 years, generations of passionate men and women have been working to produce an exceptional wine.

In this 250-year-old property, they work with high standards and passion to produce the great wines of yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

The production of Château is 60,000 bottles per year on average, for a grape variety composed of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc.

The average age of the vines is 40 years for a surface of 17 ha according to traditional methods, plowing without herbicide.

Château Barde-Haut 2021 is a Grand Cru Classé from Saint-Émilion combining harmony and structure. Nestled on exceptional clay-limestone soil, this 250-year-old estate, run by Patrice Lévêque and Hélène Garcin-Lévêque, has 16.89 hectares of south-facing vines, guaranteeing optimal conditions.

This vintage, composed of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, is made with fermentation in concrete and stainless steel vats, followed by maturation in oak barrels for 18 to 24 months. Appreciated for its freshness and aromatic richness, it reflects the refined identity of Saint-Émilion.
