These soils allow the vines to draw nutrients and benefit from optimal drainage, which favors the development of high-quality grapes. What's more, the region's temperate climate, influenced by the Atlantic Ocean, contributes to a slow and steady ripening of the grapes, allowing them to reach perfect phenolic and aromatic maturity.
The Château Belair Monange vineyard covers almost 13 hectares and is planted mainly with Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes.
