Dubosquet

House Dubosquet, located not far from Saintes in the heart of this deep Saintonge, a Roman city with limestone soils where the Romans planted their first vines in Gaul at the very beginning of our era.

It could have become the capital of Cognac, but Saintes, with its Roman-era arena and Arc de Triomphe, had to take a back seat to its rival Cognac, which later gave its name to France's most famous brandy at the end of the 19th century.

This is a very old family from the Cognac region, whose roots go back as far as 1640, according to French national archives.

This house produces Cognacs Grande Champagne, classified Premier Cru de Cognac.

Description Dubosquet 1977.

In spite of a difficult flowering, due to a relatively cold spring, the July flowering was done in very good conditions, delivering very pronounced perfumes at the time of harvest.
The dress is mahogany amber of Cuba, brilliant.
In nose as in mouth a perfect balance between subtle fragrances of white flowers and very sustained and very logue flavors on blond tobacco, musk, lichen and undergrowth, leather, cinnamon with a very long finish on chocolate and vanilla mocha.
To be enjoyed at the end of a meal with friends and family on chocolate cake or dark chocolate squares or chocolate truffles. It is the ideal vintage of cognac to share while listening to your favorite music, smelling the tulip-shaped glass and drinking from time to time, keeping the glass at the bottom of your palm to capture the layers of fragrances and tastes of this exceptional cognac.
