Aged for 28 years in a single barrel of French Limousin oak (barrel no. 149), it was bottled in 2023 at its natural 48.7% strength, without cold filtration or added colorant. Only 628 bottles were drawn from this batch Rare, preserving the authenticity of an unmodified spirit.

From the very first nose, this Cognac seduces with its elegant roundness and refined floral aromas. A delicate violet note, typical of Borderies, is accompanied by white flowers, creating a soft, harmonious aromatic expression. Intensity remains controlled, giving way to an impression of purity and delicacy.

The palate is greedy and expressive, marked by flavors of ripe vine peach and freshly crushed apple. On the finish, a subtle hint of rancio appears, accompanied by candied fruit, adding a bittersweet complexity that pleasantly prolongs the tasting experience.
