Perched at the foot of the majestic Dumgoyne hills, on the border between the Highlands and the Lowlands, Glengoyne embodies the very essence of artisanal Scotch whisky. The southernmost distillery in the Highlands, its name, inspired by the Gaelic *Glenguin* ("valley of wild geese"), pays tribute to the migratory birds that pass through this unspoiled region. Since 1833, Glengoyne has combined tradition and innovation to create single malts of rare smoothness and complexity, recognized by connoisseurs around the world.
The history of Glengoyne has its roots in a time when whisky distillation was often practiced clandestinely, sheltered by the hills and forests of Dumgoyne. Officially founded in 1833 under the name Burnfoot Distillery, it has survived the centuries while preserving its artisanal spirit. In 1906, it adopted the name Glengoyne and in 1984 was granted a royal warrant, becoming the official supplier to the Queen Mother, a distinction that attests to its excellence and still adorns its bottles today.
Unique expertise: slowness as a way of life
Glengoyne stands out for its production philosophy, where patience and precision are paramount. Each step is designed to enhance the natural aromas of the whisky, without artifice or haste.

This slow distillation process allows for prolonged contact with the copper of the stills, promoting the extraction of light and fruity esters. Carried out in two passes through... See more ...
Glengoyne White Oak 24 Years Old is the ultimate expression of an exceptional single malt, where time and wood combine to offer a tasting experience of rare intensity.
The nose is captivatingly rich: the sweetness of vanilla, the depth of toasted oak, the freshness of lemon cream, the roundness of honey, the generosity of plum jam, the sweetness of coconut, and the comforting aromas of spiced apple pastry, all enhanced by a touch of citrus.
On the palate, it is perfectly balanced: the liveliness of a lime tart, the sweetness of honeycomb, the exoticism of tropical fruits, the structure of oak, the complexity of star anise, the depth of chocolate, and the roundness of vanilla.
The long and persistent finish reveals notes of caramelized apple, lime zest, and oak, for a conclusion that is both powerful and elegant.
This whiskey owes its unique character to a rigorous production process: 100% malted barley, slow fermentation for 56 hours, double distillation in three swan-neck stills, and 24 years of aging in bourbon barrels and new American oak barrels. Unchillfiltered and uncolored, it reveals all its complexity and authenticity for an unforgettable tasting experience.
