This Scottish single malt, aged for 15 years in American white oak barrels and then refined for 3 years in Oloroso sherry casks for 30% of the blend, offers a sensory experience of great finesse. On the nose, it unfolds aromas of creamy vanilla, honey, citrus, nuts, and delicate jasmine flowers. On the palate, its velvety texture reveals flavors of dark chocolate, dried fruit, roasted hazelnuts, and caramel, complemented by notes of ripe figs and marmalade. The long and persistent finish leaves an impression of fruity sweetness and mild spices, with a subtle hint of smoke and a floral liveliness that is surprising for a whisky of this age.
