Joseph Drouhin

It was in 1880 that the House Joseph Drouhin was founded by Joseph Drouhin himself, who gave it its name permanently. He was then 22 years old and was originally from the country of Chablis, a name that was mostly Bourgogne Grand Cru. Then, over time, Maurice, his son, who succeeded him, acquired parcels in exceptional Crus, such as Clos des Mouches and Clos de Vougeot. It is the 4th generation of the same name that runs this House of Bourgogne to this day.

The House Joseph Drouhin is also 73 hectares of vines in Bourgogne, a guarantee of diversity and quality. Some parcels belonging to this House are among the greatest climates of the Bourgogne: Clos des Mouches, Montrachet, Clos de Vougeot, and the famous Moulin de Vaudon in Chablis whose name is now attached to Drouhin. In this way, the family wanted to mark its attachment to the Drouhin homeland.
