Since then, the Moueix family has played a key role in the preservation and development of this Domaine vineyard. Specifically, family member Christian Moueix has managed the estate and been the driving force behind its rise to world renown. His commitment to quality and winemaking tradition is deeply rooted in the history of the Moueix family and Château Beauregard.
The Domaine covers around 17 hectares of vines, mainly planted with the Merlot grape variety, which is predominant in the Pomerol region. These vineyards benefit from an exceptional terroir, characterized by clay soils, which give the grapes a unique aromatic richness, structure and elegance.
The specialty of Château Beauregard lies in the production of Pomerol red wines of great finesse and elegance. The Domaine is particularly well known for its resolutely traditional approach to winemaking, which includes fermentation in oak vats and aging in French oak barrels.
