Olivier Leflaive

It was Olivier's grandfather, Joseph Leflaive, who, in the aftermath of World War 1 and the bankruptcy of his Saint-Etienne steelworks, initiated the expansion of Domaine, his investments in Bourgogne being all he had left. Read more

Domaine becomes a 35-hectare family business. His son Joseph Régis, an insurer, and his brother Vincent took over in 1953.

The house quickly acquired its titles of nobility, thanks in particular to the arrival in the 1970s of air conditioning in Puligny, a considerable advance for this village built two meters above the water table, which had no underground cellars.
