Olivier Leflaive

It was Olivier's grandfather, Joseph Leflaive, who, in the aftermath of World War I and the bankruptcy of his steel factory in Saint-Etienne, initiated the expansion of Domaine, his investments in Bourgogne being all that was left to him.

The Domaine became a family business of 35 hectares. His son Joseph Régis, an insurer, and his brother Vincent took over in 1953.

The house quickly acquired its titles of nobility, notably thanks to the arrival in the 1970s of air conditioning in Puligny, a considerable advance for this village built two meters above the water table which had no buried cellars.
