Roger Brun

The Brun family history goes back several generations, when Roger Brun, a passionate winemaker, decided to create his own Champagne house in 1952 in Ay, in the prestigious Montagne de Reims region. From the outset, Roger Brun set out to produce Champagnes of exceptional quality, paying particular attention to every stage of the process, from the vine to the bottle.

Over the years, the Brun family has passed on its winemaking know-how and heritage, and the house of Champagne Roger Brun has developed an enviable reputation in the world of Champagne. Today, the house is still run by members of the Brun family, who proudly perpetuate the values of quality, authenticity and respect for terroir.

Terroir is a fundamental element in the quality of Champagnes Roger Brun. The house vineyards cover around 20 hectares, mainly located in Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne. These terroirs benefit from limestone soil and a microclimate ideal for growing Champagne grape varieties, notably Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay.

The vines are grown responsibly and sustainably, with great importance attached to preserving the environment and the health of the soil. Harvesting is carried out by hand, allowing careful selection of the ripest and healthiest grapes, guaranteeing the optimum quality of the wines.

Winemaking at Roger Brun is a meticulous process, where tradition and modernity meet. Grapes are carefully pressed and juices are vinified separately to pRéserver the diversity of terroirs. The use of indigenous yeasts and stainless steel vats helps preserve the freshness and purity of aromas. The cuvées are then aged on lees for an extended period, adding complexity and texture to the Champagnes.

The Champagnes Roger Brun are distinguished by their elegance, finesse and ability to reflect the unique character of their terroir. Each cuvée expresses the personality of its vineyard of origin, offering a complex aromatic palette ranging from fresh fruit and floral notes to hints of brioche and honey. On the palate, Champagnes are balanced, with delicate effervescence and a lingering finish.

The house of Champagne Roger Brun offers a varied range of cuvées, from non Champagnes Millésimés to prestige cuvées, including Champagnes Blanc de blancs and Rosés. Each bottle is the fruit of the Brun family's passionate work and expertise.
