The story of Cédric Bouchard begins with his family, whose roots in viticulture go back several generations. Cédric inherited his family's love of the land and wine, and decided to pursue this passion by founding his own Domaine. His decision to work in the Côte des Bar region, often underestimated compared to the more famous Champagne regions, is a testament to his determination to produce unique Champagnes that reflect the specific terroir of this region.

Cédric Bouchard's Domaine is located in Landreville, a quiet village on the Côte des Bar. Its vineyards cover around 3 hectares of vines, mainly planted with the Pinot Noir grape variety. This terroir is characterized by clay-limestone soils that contribute to the richness and complexity of the grapes.

The specialty lies in the production of Champagnes known as "Blanc de noirs", made exclusively from the Pinot Noir grape variety. He takes pride in producing pure wines that reflect the terroir, using traditional, artisanal methods. Each cuvée is an authentic expression of the Côte des Bar terroir, and he is known for avoiding excessive use of sulfites, allowing natural aromas to express themselves fully.

The approach is resolutely minimalist, with minimal intervention in the winemaking process. He also practices biodynamic farming in his vineyards, fostering a harmonious relationship between the vine and its environment.
