Hardy

A house of the Second French Empire under Napoléon III based in Cognac.

It was a British from London Anthony Hardy who founded this house in 1863.

In 1869 in Amsterdam this house obtained the diploma of excellence for its Cognac fine Champagne (a blend of Cognac from Grande Champagne 1er cru and Cognac petite Champagne classified legally 2nd cru with a minimum of 50% Cognac Grande Champagne).

In 1891, in Saint Petersburg, the house Hardy received the gold medal of the alliance as a tribute to the Franco-Russian friendship.

Today the House Hardy is directed by a fifth generation.
