The terroir of Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande is of exceptional quality, with soils composed of gravel, clay and limestone. The vines cover an area of almost 85 hectares, planted mainly with traditional Bordeaux grape varieties, namely Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
