Wine and spirits masterpieces to your doorstep
This is a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé.
The Archives reveal the existence of this Château by deed of acquisition in 1685.
Château Grand Mayne covers an area of 18 'hectares consisting of clay-limestone on the hillside part, clay in the central part foot of the hillside and sand on clay in the lower part of the vineyard.
Varietal composition: Merlot 75%, Cabernet Franc 15%, Cabernet Sauvignon 10%.
All the grapes are harvested by hand and the wine improves initially for 14 to 20 months depending on the vintage in new barrels in the proportion of 70% to 100%.
The production depending on the year is about 83 barrels or a small hundred thousand bottles or an average yield of about 4100 to 4200 liters per hectare.

The care we take when receiving wines in our cellars enables us to detect bottles with imperfections (dirty or faded labels, damaged capsules, etc.). In such cases, they are systematically set aside and never put online! Our preparation team selects only bottles with perfect presentation for your orders!
It is these bottles with slight external defects that we present to you in the "Existe en imparfaite" selection. These bottles are, of course, of "irreproachable" gustatory quality, but suffer from slight defects on the label or cap. We therefore offer them at a preferential price, making the pleasure of tasting them even more affordable.
