Deutz

A sure-fire, must-try value, Maison Deutz has decidedly everything to please, offering numerous Champagnes as fine as they are irresistible. Spanning 45 hectares of vineyards around the town of Aÿ, mainly classified as Premier Cru and Grand Cru, Maison Deutz demonstrates an authentic style with the purest respect for traditional methods and environmental issues.

What is the history of Maison Deutz?

La Maison de Champagne Deutz was founded in 1838 in Aÿ by William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann, who were born during the First Prussian Empire and immigrated to France in 1830. William was already selling Champagne while Pierre-Hubert was a wine merchant, so they combined their skills to found their own trading house. The vineyard of Maison Deutz today reaches a size of 45 hectares of vines, planted mainly on terroirs classified as Premier Cru and Grand Cru. The soils are made up of chalk, marl and limestone, with a semi-continental and... See more ...

Description Deutz Sakura Edition Rosé Brut.

The wine is taken down to the cellar for 3 years of ageing.

A beautiful, brilliant color with light Rosés.

On the nose as on the palate: aromas of cherries, blackberries, pomegranates and redcurrants, the nose expresses itself with openness and greed. The palate is intense, enlivened by delicious notes of wild strawberries and fresh raspberries.

Dining and wine pairing: enjoy between 10°C and 12°C. As an aperitif or to accompany a meal, this Champagne will be the perfect partner for salmon with mushrooms, a rack of lamb, and certain fresh cheeses such as Chaource or Brillat Savarin.
