Emblematic vineyard Domain of the Bourgogne, the origins of Château de Pommard go back almost 300 years. The first vines were planted by Benedictine monks in 909. Since then, five great families have succeeded one another to make this exceptional wine estate what it is today : a true gem of the Côte de Beaune. It is one of the oldest Domaines in the region.
With its 20 hectares, Clos Marey-Monge is the largest single vineyard in Bourgogne.
The five cuvées, from unique terroirs, are blended to offer exceptional Bourgogne wines whose elegance and complexity are recognized the world over. The Domaine also offers a superb collection of wines from the finest Côtes de Beaune and Côte de Nuits appellations : Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru, Chambolle-Musigny, Gevrey-Chambertin, Nuits-Saint-Georges and Volnay.
Vinification is carried out with absolute respect for nature, with grapes harvested by hand and fermented separately, then blended to create balanced cuvées.
