The story goes back to the 1980s, when the Huneeus family acquired an estate of over 150 hectares in the Rutherford region, in the heart of Napa Valley. The family's vision was to create a unique Domaine, where the diversity of soils, the orientation of the hills and the ideal climate would combine to produce wines of exceptional quality. The number of dedicated hectares is around 160 hectares, part of which is planted with vines. This vast expanse of terroir makes it possible to select specific plots that best express the unique characteristics of each grape variety grown.
